Reclaim Your Inner Power

There is a quiet strength inside you - not loud or forceful, but steady and true. Reclaiming it is not about becoming someone new; it’s about returning to who you’ve always been.

Why power matters in healing

At some point on every heling journey, we begin to notice the places where we’ve given ourselves away - where we’ve said “yes” when we meant “no,'“ where we’ve dimmed our light to stay comfortable for others, or where we’ve absorbed blame that was never ours to carry. These moments often feel small, but over time, they shape our sense of identity.

Reclaiming our inner power is not about control or dominance - it’s about choice, clarity and self-respect. It’s about knowing your worth, honouring your needs, and taking your place in the world with intention.

How we lose touch with our power

For many of us, disconnection from personal power happens subtly. It can be passed down through family patterns, reinforced by cultural messages, or born out of survival. We may have learned to stay silent, to shrink ourselves, or to internalise criticism. These patterns become part of how we move through life - but they don’t have to stay that way.

Some signs you may be out of touch with your power include;

  • Constant second-guessing or self-doubt

  • People-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries

  • Feeling stuck or uninspired

  • Fear of taking up space or speaking your truth

Reclaiming your power is an act of devotion

It begins with awareness - with noticing where your energy leaks, where your voice fades, where your light dims. It continues with small acts of reclamation. You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. Start with one breath. One boundary. One truth spoken clearly.

Practices to call your power back:

  1. Body Awareness: Power lives in the body. Stand tall. Breathe deep. Move slowly. Come back home to yourself.

  2. Create Boundaries: A boundary is not a wall - it’s a bridge to self-respect. Learn where your limits are, and honour them with love.

  3. Tune into your intuition: Your body speaks in whispers. Learn to hear it. Trust the quiet wisdom within.

  4. Take aligned action: When you act from truth - not fear - you reinforce your inner authority. Even small steps matter.

  5. Celebrate your choices: Every time you choose yourself with compassion, you grow stronger. Make it a practice.

Reclaiming power is not about perfection.

You will have days where you falter, where you forget, where you fall back to old patterns. That’s okay. Healing does not follow a straight path. What matters is that you return - to yourself, your truth, your inner strength.

Again and again.

You are not broken - you are remembering.

Let it be the season where you come back to your power - where you blossom and bloom. Not with force, but with ease and grace. With breath. With quiet conviction.
